Lyrics

Happy are you, O people blest by the Lord,
the shield of your help and the sword of your majesty.

Blest of the Lord be this land,
for the precious things of heaven, for the dew,
And the treasures under the earth,
for the precious fruit ripened by the sun,
and the seasons shone by the moon,
For the precious gifts of the mountains,
and the glory of the everlasting hills:
To God all praise and all glory!

Sing praise to God who reigns above,
The God of all creation,
The God of power, the God of love,
The God of our salvation;
With healing balm my soul He fills,
And every faithless murmur stills:
To God be praise and glory.

Thus, all my gladsome way along,
I sing aloud His praises,
That men may hear the grateful song
My voice unwearied raises.
Be joyful in the Lord, my heart,
Both soul and body bear your part:
To God be praise and glory. Amen!
